A recognizable moisturizing formula
The official list includes glycerin, dimethicone, shea butter, ceramides and sodium hyaluronate, alongside peptides and soy isoflavones. No7 positions the product for dry skin during menopause.[source]
The moisturizing base is a practical reason to examine the cream. It is not evidence that the product replaces estrogen or treats the wider symptoms of menopause. A life-stage label and a prescription hormone are different categories.
Hydration results are not a hormone-treatment trial
No7 links its extended-hydration claim to instrumental testing and other claims to consumer studies. Those methods should remain attached to the relevant outcomes.[source]
A product-development exercise involving thousands of women is not automatically an efficacy trial in that many people. Nor does a comparison of hydration against a more expensive cream establish superiority for every skin concern.
Consider availability before a bargain calculation
The US page showed $37.99 and marked the 1.69-ounce product sold out. We include it as a researched retail reference, with that limitation visible rather than presenting a guaranteed direct purchase.[source]
The ingredient list also includes fragrance. If that is a known trigger, broad sensitive-skin marketing should not override the label. AAD’s testing guidance explains why reactions can still occur even when a product is marketed reassuringly.[source] Confirm the exact item and current stock before comparing it with a prescription-service commitment.
